Creating an Imagination Plan of Action

Do you need a plan of action to accomplish the things in life that you have only dreamt about?  Create an Imagination Plan of Action!

This is where you set two or three BIG GOALS you want to achieve in your lifetime . . . it can be anything at all! Write each goal on a separate piece of paper and under each goal create smaller “stepping stone” goals on the path to achieving your BIG GOAL. Here’s an example:

BIG GOAL

I want to be more outgoing.

STEPPING STONE GOALS

1. Practice sharing my feelings and opinions when they arise. Don’t hold back when I have the opportunity to express myself.

Sharpening your child’s imagination

There are several intuitive pathways of parenting and I would like to share one of them here.  These pathways are tools that encourage spiritual growth.  One tool is Imagination. Imagination is part of the creative life force energy that moves through each and every one of us. Every person on this planet has creative ability. Ask yourself what you most like to do and chances are your answer will involve using creative energy. Parenthood offers great opportunities to engage in these kinds of activities with children.

When we are involved in a creative endeavor, time seems to stand still. We get lost in our creative bliss and when we come out of the activity, we are surprised at how long we were engaged in the project. This is an example of living in the present moment. Imagination keeps us in the here and now, celebrating thoughts, ideas, pictures and symbols.

Journaling with Imaginative Questions

Journaling is an excellent way to expand your level of awareness. As your awareness increases, you will have the ability to heal the places within you that need healing. Opening up to heightened levels of awareness clears you for powerful imaginative exercises. Get a journaling book and copy the following questions, leaving plenty of space between each question so you can return to add additional questions, thoughts, and ideas.

JOURNALING QUESTIONS

1. How do you imagine your life in three years?

2. What are your creative gifts?

3. How can you use your gifts to enhance your life?

4. What is the wildest desire you have for yourself? Has it come true?

If not, why hasn’t it?

Create your perfect day

IMAGINE YOUR DAY BEFORE IT STARTS

Before your feet hit the floor in the morning, before you even get out of bed, close your eyes and see your day in positive perfection. The key here is to preview your day as you want it to happen. Say to yourself, “Wow what a great day I am having today!” You can lay your day out before you by imagining it like this: “I have so much energy today. My meetings are productive. My mood is good. My communication is excellent and I get so much work done. At the end of the day, I still have time to relax and enjoy the company of my family. My rest tonight is sound and sweet.”

Remember–the mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and what you are thinking as long as you believe it with feeling and conviction. You really are the creator of your world each and every day! Practice writing out an ideal day for yourself. Practice makes perfect!

MY IDEAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE THIS….

Create an “Imagination Board”

This is a fun activity for all ages. You may use poster board, foam board, cardboard . . . whatever backdrop you want. Collect pictures that represent the desires you want to imagine into your future.

The sky’s the limit! Let your imagination soar! Paste, staple, or tack your pictures to the board as you collect them.

Keep your Imagination Board in a place where you will see it every day. Take time each day to look at the pictures, then close your eyes and allow your imagination to create a story for you in a manner similar to the healing symbol work where you created a movie to run through your mind. Be detailed.

A few creative tips for STANDING IN YOUR PERSONAL POWER!

Connect with Julianna

Its Julianna Lyddon here and today I want to talk about personal power. One of the things I see a lot in my practice is that people have trouble standing in their power, in their light. Often we stand beside it or even behind it. And it can be hard sometimes because there is no perfection in the human condition. We all have good days and bad days.   But sometimes we need a few extra tips to help us through some of the obstacles we face in our life.

So with relationship to personal power, one of the things that I think we need to identify first is what makes us special. What makes you unique. How do you stand apart from everybody else in the world. So whether this is related to opening your own business or you just want to be happier in your life.

Learn the Necessary Steps Towards Manifesting

Connect with Julianna

One of the things that’s been on my mind lately I’ve been talking a lot about it in workshops or talking to groups of people, really anyone that will listen! Is the concept of using our imagination, and how we can actually use it in order to bring what we want into our reality. Here’s the thing that I want to leave you with today, and that is that we our master co-creators of our reality. That we have the ability, that we have the magnificence to bring whatever we want into our reality.

Think about your imagination like this. Everything you see in the world, everything from this computer, to your car, to an airplane to a chair to a television set, whatever it is, it all started in someone’s imagination as that imaginative thought. Now it may have taken teams of people, it may have taken years to bring it to fruition, but that just gives you an idea of how amazingly powerful we are as human beings.

And so often I find that people don’t believe in their power. They’re not standing in their power. They might intellectually know that they’re powerful and read about it and talk about it, but they don’t actually live it.

I am thinking about something!!!!

I want to share something about our thoughts. We need to know how powerful our thoughts are. And when I say that, you may be saying, I know… but you really may not know! They really really are powerful. I do a workshop on imagination and how powerful it is when we really tap into that place. I don’t think people realize that thoughts really are powerful.

We see those quotes on facebook and elsewhere and as cliché as it sounds those are out there and people have known this since the beginning of time that thoughts are energy and what we are thinking absolutely permeates our physical body and even more importantly funnels into our world. And it is part of what creates our reality.

Think about this, everything we see in our world, this computer I am working on, the microwave behind me, the tv, our cars, a jet engine, everything in our world was first created by a single thought that came up as a thought in someone’s mind and then moved into their imagination and they started to created it. Now maybe it took years to bring it to fruition or teams of people to actually bring about maybe a vaccine for an illness. Maybe it took many many years but every single thing in our world was once just a thought in someone’s mind.

So if you think about that, you begin to realize how amazingly powerful each and every one of us really is! I mean we have the ability with every single thought we have to shape our world on a daily basis.

And it gets even cooler than that!!  because With every thought that we have we are consciously making a decision. Click To Tweet

That decision either brings us closer to our dream or further away from it.

Imagination is one of our greatest assets

Connect with Julianna

IMAGINATION… it is one of our greatest assets.

Do you use it?

Remember using your imagination as a child? It was so much fun to play in a fantasy land and create anything you wanted. There were no limits, no boundaries to your ideas, thoughts, and beliefs. It was joyful and magical and best of all….you were in complete control. Have you closed the door to this imaginative world? Do you remember how old you were when you finally stopped tapping into this imaginative wonderland? Maybe your parents told you that you were too old to play “make believe” or possibly you started to notice that you were the only one that still had an imaginary friend. Whatever the reason, I encourage you to allow your imagination to blossom once again…and here’s why!

Our imagination is one of our greatest assets. Click To Tweet

It is through our imagination that we begin the true creative process. Think about it….every idea that has ever been born was birthed through imagination. All of our technologies, businesses, scientific discoveries are all a direct result of the power of imagination. When Alexander Graham Bell had his first imaginative idea about creating a telephone, I’m sure it must have seemed pretty crazy to many…..or when the Wright Brothers dreamed up the idea of building an airplane, I guarantee there were people that believed it could never be done. During their lifetime, these ideas may have seemed outlandish, but when cultivated, they helped to change the world.

Practice strengthening your imaginative skills again. Begin by letting yourself expand your desires…making them bigger than life. What makes your heart sing, what brings you true joy? What do you really want to be doing with your life? Whatever it is, begin to see it…imagine it…let the ideas create a picture and allow these pictures to take shape in your mind as a scene. Pretend it’s a movie that you are watching play out in your mind. Within your imagination, lies your own unique, creative, genius. So take the time to play a little…imagine yourself as a powerful piece of this great universe. Imagine that!
