Are you growing as a person?

 

Here are a few challenges for your imagination. Each month, come up with one new creative challenge for yourself.  This could be a new craft, a new visualization you want to bring into your reality, a dance you want to learn, or a game to play that challenges your imaginative brain power. If you regularly challenge yourself, you will continue to stretch, expand, and grow as a person. Add your new challenges to your calendar, get your family and friends involved, and have fun!

Breathing Exercises for the Root Chakra

 

Breathing exercises will help to open up and heal the root chakra. Typically, individuals only use about a third of their lung capacity. Deep breathing increases the amount of oxygen and nutrients delivered to organs and glands. These two breathing exercises will encourage healing to the body by allowing more oxygen to be absorbed by all of the organ systems.

Creating an Imagination Plan of Action

 

Do you need a plan of action to accomplish the things in life that you have only dreamt about?  Create an Imagination Plan of Action!

This is where you set two or three BIG GOALS you want to achieve in your lifetime . . . it can be anything at all! Write each goal on a separate piece of paper and under each goal create smaller “stepping stone” goals on the path to achieving your BIG GOAL. Here’s an example:

BIG GOAL

I want to be more outgoing.

STEPPING STONE GOALS

1. Practice sharing my feelings and opinions when they arise. Don’t hold back when I have the opportunity to express myself.

Journaling with Imaginative Questions

Journaling is an excellent way to expand your level of awareness. As your awareness increases, you will have the ability to heal the places within you that need healing. Opening up to heightened levels of awareness clears you for powerful imaginative exercises. Get a journaling book and copy the following questions, leaving plenty of space between each question so you can return to add additional questions, thoughts, and ideas.

JOURNALING QUESTIONS

1. How do you imagine your life in three years?

2. What are your creative gifts?

3. How can you use your gifts to enhance your life?

4. What is the wildest desire you have for yourself? Has it come true?

Create your perfect day

 

IMAGINE YOUR DAY BEFORE IT STARTS

Before your feet hit the floor in the morning, before you even get out of bed, close your eyes and see your day in positive perfection. The key here is to preview your day as you want it to happen. Say to yourself, “Wow what a great day I am having today!” You can lay your day out before you by imagining it like this: “I have so much energy today. My meetings are productive. My mood is good. My communication is excellent and I get so much work done. At the end of the day, I still have time to relax and enjoy the company of my family. My rest tonight is sound and sweet.”

Remember–the mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and what you are thinking as long as you believe it with feeling and conviction. You really are the creator of your world each and every day! Practice writing out an ideal day for yourself. Practice makes perfect!

Create an “Imagination Board”

This is a fun activity for all ages. You may use poster board, foam board, cardboard . . . whatever backdrop you want. Collect pictures that represent the desires you want to imagine into your future.

The sky’s the limit! Let your imagination soar! Paste, staple, or tack your pictures to the board as you collect them.

Keep your Imagination Board in a place where you will see it every day. Take time each day to look at the pictures, then close your eyes and allow your imagination to create a story for you in a manner similar to the healing symbol work where you created a movie to run through your mind. Be detailed.

This is where you really expand your view or picture as if it is a movie in your mind. See yourself in the vision.

Create an escape with the images

Use your imagination to play and become very creative. Imagine your Healing Symbol as very large, very grandiose in size and shape. Picture it illuminated with white light or possibly in a meadow bathed in sunshine. Whatever vision you conger up to signify beauty and light is good because it is meant to represent purity and healing.

Now, allow your Healing Symbol to move toward your Blocking Symbol. Allow your mind’s eye to visualize your Healing Symbol slowly engulfing your Blocking Symbol as if the two are joining in love. No judgments or negative opinions surround the Blocking Symbol, rather it is an opportunity to embrace your pain and the blocks that have been holding you back. You are recognizing the blocks have served a valuable purpose at one time– perhaps a form of protection–but now you are free to release them and heal. You can now move to a better, more productive place.
